Hubbard's Cove and Beyond
This community is near both Warren and Coffee Counties.

Bettye Sherwood ( has finished a new book, Hubbard's Cove and Beyond. It is a 234 page book with 14 pages of index and about 144 pictures. She's included all those early settlers who were there from 1840 to 1860 and their descendants. If the descendants left the cove, she has told where they went,  if known. She included the descendants of early settlers who are still living in the cove as well. The books are priced at $35.00 each.  Shipping will cost $5.00.

Law Enforcers in Grundy County, 1844-2008.
Bettye Wooten Sherwood has published a 122 page, hard bound, fully indexed book entitled  Law Enforcers in Grundy County 1844-2008.  The book is very informative with many pictures of former sheriffs, deputies, highway patrol personnel, judges and other officers who were either from Grundy County or who served in the county.
