Correction for Grundy County Heritage Book from Janice Sanders McFarland - reported Sept. 13, 2009

This should go under the article on Leonard & Daisy (Worley) Tigue.

Their daughter Otsie Tigue married to Doug Nunley. Their children were Peggy Nunley who married Kenneth "Mope" Manley; Kenny Nunley and Billy Jo Nunley who died in 1962.

Article # 945 Ethleen Sitz Mc Nabb states that the child shown with Martha Hanna Woods Cornelison Levan is Kathleen Guthrie Meeks, a daughter of Stacie Guthrie. The child is incorrectly identified as Linda Roy.

Articles #587 & #1060 Dollie Ellis Church should be Dolly Ann Ellis married Joseph W. Parsons. Marriage license issued on January 15, 1891 in Franklin County to Joe Parson and Dollie Ellis. Dollie is the daughter of George & Julia Ellis with brothers James, John, William, and Dollie all listed in the 1880 census. Sue H. Sitz Brown of Evansville, IN reports that Joe & Dollie's oldest child Estelle is her mother.

Caitlin's Lunch Box

On April 22, 1994, Chris's Lunch Box opened on Coylar Street in Tracy City. It was a small business primarily serving burgers and pizza through a very small drive-thru window. After surviving the first year, on leased property, the opportunity came to purchase the property, so we took what was to us a very big step. Community support and business growth made it necessary to build a larger building, but we kept the drive-thru concept. A friend told us, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Trial and error helped us see what people seemed to like. One thing was and still is, the ever popular "mega-burger" and the other is Virginia Sweeton's (my mother-in-law's) home cooked lunches, which we began serving in 1997, and we still are. In 1998 my wife Julia and I were blessed with our long awaited baby girl, Mary-Virginia Caitlin Lee Rogers. Again, because of customer support and growth the need for a larger building arose, so in 2003, we began construction of "Caitlin's Lunch Box", (Guess who it was named after?) and we were able to move into it in October of 2003. We are thankful for all the friends we have made during this ten-year adventure and are looking forward to many years ahead. Most of all we want to thank God and praise Him from whom all blessings flow.
