Every so often, the men of our country have been called to serve their country in wartime. The men of Grundy County answered that call and made their families, county, state and country proud! Some have said that there were only two who would lay down their lives for you. Those two were Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. This article chronicles those soldiers from Grundy County, TN, who did give their lives in service to their country so that everyday citizens like you and me can live free from oppression.
