Hill Camp was a lumber camp far out past Nelmon Savage's place in the Barker's Cove area.


Werner Camp was a lumber camp on past Hill Camp.  It was located by a spring.  Theoma King Cartwright was born there May 28, 1948.


Dripping Springs School was located in the settlement in Bryant's Cove which is largely in Marion County, but is accessed through a remote road leaving the plateau at Burkett's Chapel Cemetery near Gruetli.


Centerville - mentioned in several documents, was located around the businesses on Hwy. 50 at the I 24 bridge in Pelham. 

"John Warren, Charles F. Lowe, Thomas Saunders, James Meeks, and Thomas Burrows    7 Oct 1844   This day John Warren (et al) who was appointed Jury of Vew at the last Term of this court made their report as follows.  The said road Shall begin at Pelham running with the centerville road passing by Elizabeth Muckleroys, to the end of her Land, and running westwardly so as to intersect the old Caldwells bridge road near Benjamin O. Nevells.  It is therefore ordered by the court that said road be established as a road of the second class."
